Our client is offering a career opportunity as a Telephonic Nurse Case Manager in Indianapolis, IN. As a Telephonic Nurse Case Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing case management, evaluate need for case management intervention, as well as develop a plan of action to facilitate maximum medical recovery.

Required Qualifications:
Need candidates with actual Worker’s Compensation Case Management experience
Any applicant with a CCM (certified case manager) would be great or nurses with worker’s compensation experience
Responsible for medically managing assigned caseload and by applying clinical expertise to ensure individuals receive appropriate healthcare in order to return to work and normal activity in a timely and cost effective manner
Applies clinical expertise to achieve optimal claimant outcome and to facilitate claim resolution and disposition
Ability to analyze and make sound nursing judgments and to accurately document activities
Indiana State License is required Preferred Qualifi! cations:
Licenses are preferred in the following states: OH, MI, TN, VA, WV, MD, DC and KY Job Responsibilities :
As a Nurse Case Manager, you will develop appropriate treatment plans, negotiation claims, perform initial assessments and evaluate need for alternative treatment. Additional responsibilities for the Telephonic Nurse Case Manager include:

Negotiate claims in order to provide case direction and supervision to field case specialists when on-site intervention is required

Confer with adjusters, employee and doctor to work within recommended plan or make necessary modifications

Job Requirements:
As a Nurse Case Manger, you must have an active registered nursing license and have 3+ years of Clinical experience. Additional requirements of the Case Manager include:
Current or recent Nurse Case Management, Telephonic Case Management or UR experience
CCM and QRP Designations required for Workers’ Compensat! ion
