Assistant/Associate Professor, School of Nursing

Location: Muncie Indiana

Description: Ball State University is in need of Assistant/Associate Professor, School of Nursing right now, this position will be placed in Indiana. Responsibilities: teaching didactic and clinical courses in t! he undergraduate areas of adult health nursing, mental health nursing, pediatric nursing, and graduate courses in the areas of nurse educator, administrator, and adult/family nurse practitioner; and professional service.

Minimum qualifications : current unencumbered State Registered Nurse License; master’s degree in nursing or in a field appropriate to teaching or clinical responsibilities; earned doctorate in nursing or related field by date of appointment or ABD in nursing or a related field with doctorate completed by January 6, 2014.

Preferred qualifications : teaching experience in higher education; clinical nursing experience in related area of teaching; demonstrated scholarship activities; record of published research in refereed journals; ability to communicate effectively; and ability to integrate technology in nursing education.
