As an Operating Room nurse you are an energetic, organized individual, able to remain calm under pressure. Excellent prioritization skills are necessary to meet the constantly changing needs in your work environment. You are a first-rate communicator because this is essential to relay vital information to team members during surgery. The ever-changing technical advances mean that as an OR Nurse you must be able to assimilate new information ! constantly. This way, continuing education becomes a very impo! rtant concept. Qualifications
Education: BSN Minimum of 5++ years experience as OR Nurse Can Scrub and Circulate - Peds, preferred - Minimum 3+ years - General Surgery - Urology- Plastics- ENT- GI- Neuro- and CV CNOR, preferred Active state license to practice in Indiana Relevant specialty certifications/credentials Professional References
