Physical Therapist Assistant - Long Term Care / SNF Facility

Location: Indianapolis Indiana

Description: Onward Healthcare is in need of Physical Therapist Assistant - Long Term Care / SNF Facility right now, this occupation will be placed in Indiana. Onward Healthcare is looking for a Physical Therapy Assistant to fill an immediate need in an in-state long term care / skilled nursin! g facility. PTA’s primary responsibilities will be to assist the Physical Therapist with the evaluation of resident's conditions, development of treatment plans, and restoration of day-to-day functionality.
The position at this particular skilled nursing facility (SNF) will be contract based and provide competitive base bay and medical benefits. Relocation may also be provided for non-local candidates.

Physical Therapy Assistant’s duties will be to:
Carry out hands-on treatment of patients
Assist in implementation and documentation of patient status under the direction of the physical therapist (PT)
Communicate on a regular basis with the Physical Therapist as to the status, progress, and needs of the patient
Assist in patient screenings
Assist in developing and implementing new programs/techniques to enhance physical therapy services
Attend facility meetings as needed

Position Requirements for SNF Physical Therapy Assistant Jobs:

Active in-state PTA license
1 year experience preferred
