Knowledge of a wide range of investigation, inspection, or compliance principles and methods relevan! t to a specialty area, as well as relevant laws, regulations, precedents, case law, and legal procedures. Knowledge permits the employee to plan and conduct work; interpret case law; devise new approaches to fact finding and analyses; and complete sustained assignments where conditions, problems, and individuals vary considerably.

Corporate Compliance :

  • Assures consistency of all IHC’s work with all laws and regulations through the effective functioning of a corporate compliance program.
  • Implements and maintains comprehensive, enterprise-wide corporate compliance program.
  • Coordinates/conducts investigations to identify, clarify, and resolve potential compliance issues.
  • Develops and implements corrective action plans for noncompliance issues.
  • Develops, implements, and maintains standards of conduct, related policies and procedures.
  • Provides annual and new employee corporate compliance training.
  • !
  • Coordinates and maintains reporting channels (e.g., Hotlin! e) for use without fear of retaliation.
  • Stays current with compliance, laws, regulations, cases, and advises IHC leadership on changes.
Performance Improvement :
  • Ensures positive client health outcomes.
  • Develops and monitors performance improvement program guided by target area needs assessments.
  • Analyzes PI and quality monitoring data and reports the findings to executive teams.
  • Collaborates with providers and managers on training programs to increase positive health outcomes.
  • Analyzes quality data to identify workforce training and education needs.
  • Educates employees at all levels in performance improvement philosophy, tools, and techniques.
  • Leads, facilitates, and/or advises performance improvement teams.
  • Directs quality audits for site-specific populations and specialty specific indicators.
  • Designs and implements a Monthly/Quarterly/Annual site indicators repo! rting packet.
  • Directs Client Satisfaction data to show annual improvement in the 5 key areas.
  • Uses common IHC diagnosis and treatments and develops disease specific client education.
  • Coordinates accreditation activities; keeps current with all new standards and/or requirements.
Risk Management :
  • Minimizes IHC’s risk.
  • Develops and manages a comprehensive, effective risk management program.
  • Collaborates and communicates information or action on potential or identified risks.
  • Identifies solutions and/or process redesign to remedy or prevent risk issues.
  • Acts as organizational liaison to insurance carriers on claims, reporting, and potential legal liability.
Technology â€"Able to:
  • Leverage corporation-wide use of latest technology; proficient in computer skills, including typing and use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, eCW, etc.
  • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
    Bachelors or Master’s degree preferred! and current licensure, as applicable, in nursing, public health, or equivalent. A minimum of seven to ten years’ related work experience in quality management, risk management areas. CPHQ or CCO required. Demonstrated successful supervisory experience of 3-5 years required. Able to travel up to 80% of the time with own transportation.
