Location: Fort Wayne Indiana

Nurse Practitioners needed in Fort Wayne. Wonderful Primary care clinic has an immediate need for a nurse practitioner to work on their team. The office currently has 6 other nurse practitioners on staff along with 3 p! hysicians and is a growing practice. This is an opportunity to manage and grow your own practice as a nurse practitioner. You will work with a collaborating physician on staff while at the same time have a significant amount of autonomy over your patient load. You may have patients assigned to you as your primary patient and be responsible for their treatment. In addition, you will have the support of a nursing staff to assist you in educating the patient as to treatment and care. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse practitioner who desires to work in a primary care environment.

The position offers a competitive compensation and a full array of benefits. Hours are very nice with no weekend hours and no weekend call. Work 8-5 three days a week and 8-7 the other two.

REQUIREMENTS

1) Must have an FNP or Adult NP certificate.

2) Prescriptive authority is required or the ability to obtain it. (There are collaborating physicians on sta! ff)

3) Prior experience as a primary care nurse pract! itioner is a plus but we will consider a newer grad for this opportunity.

4) Must be a team player and able to properly assess the primary complaints of the patient and properly diagnose and or refer for proper treatment.
