Personally administers nursing care to patients/residents and/or plans, directs and coordinates the nursing care of a group of patients/residents via the nursing process and ! in collaboration with the health team.
Responsibilities:
Instructs patients/residents and/or families in procedures, health care practices and continuing care after discharge. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner adhering to all hospital and departmental policies and procedures and in compliance with the Indiana State Nurse Practice Act.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; current license as a registered nurse with the State of Indiana Health Professions Bureau; participates in Basic Life Support training per American Heart Association or American Red Cross standards. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 lbs, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.
Required: 3-5 years of experience in LDR.
