Serves as primary resource for planning, coordinating and facilitating professional nursing and clinical staff education throughout the Parkview Heal! th System.
BSN required, MSN preferred. Those hired prior to September 2012, qualify under previous BS requirments. Indiana Perinatal Standards require that NICU and Obstetrics educators have a MSN.
Valid Indiana Registered Nurse License is required. Certification in clinical specialty area preferred. Nursing Professional Staff Development certification within 3 years preferred. Extensvie Long Term Care experience preferred.
Must have minimum of five years experience in direct patient care, preferably in area of specialty for position applied and have prior experience in education role (i.e. patient education, staff education,community, academic...) Indiana Perinatal Standards require that NICU and Obstetrics educators must have advanced neonatal and obstetrical experience.
