The RN in Ambulatory/Specialty Care effectively performs all nursing functions in an efficient manner and in accordance with policies, proce! dures, and the Indiana Nurse Practice Act. The RN in Ambulatory/Specialty Care identifies performance improvement opportunites, utilizes the nursing process to care for patients, manages phone and walk-in triage, assesses patients and documents appropriately, educates patients and families and serves as preceptor and resource as necessary.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Active Indiana RN license or eligibility for Indiana licensure
- Minimum of one year of professional nursing experience is preferred
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association Healthcare Provider preferred)
- Bilingual (able to speak and understand) in English and Spanish preferred
