Description: St.Vincent Heart Center of Indiana is at the momment seeking for Registered Nurse - OR (/Full Time Day/Evening) right now, this position will be placed in Indiana. The Registered Nurse ensures the delivery of direct care to guests consistent with professional expectations, the Nurse! Practice Act, and the mission and core values of The Heart Center of Indiana. The Registered Nurse assesses and monitors guest’s health, designs and implements the nursing care plans, operates medical equipment and works in collaboration with the other team members. The Registered Nurse assists guests and their families to move toward wellness by providing appropriate medical information and education. Duties:
FT Day/Evening Shift -With rotating call (10 hour shifts requiring flexibility- Shift start times may vary from 6:15 am to 11:00 am)
Qualifications:
Requirements: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Evidence of on-going continuing education relevant to the area of expertise is expected. One year of surgery and/or cardiovascular experience preferred but not required.
Licensure: Current licensure by The Indiana Board of Nursing Licensure and Registration is required.
Additional Requirements: Curr! ent BLS certification is required. Current ACLS certification ! is preferred, or required within 90 days of employment. CNOR certification preferred. Will take call on a rotating basis; must be available for a 30 minute call response time.
