Cameron Memorial Community Hospital, a 25-bed independent, not-for-profit, critical access hospital located in the beautiful lake resort area of northeastern Indiana, city of Angola, has an opening for an experienced Chief Operating Officer. The position is available because of the planned retirement of the current COO. This is an exciting leadership opportunity with a financially strong hospital that is anticipating the start of construction of a new hospital in fall 2012. A minimum of 5 years of healthcare experience as a hospital COO or other healthcare executive leadership position is required. Bachelor's degree required as well as an advanced degree in business or healthcare administration or related area. Registered Nurse highly preferred. Affiliation with American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) required. Must possess excellent communication skills both orally and written.
