Job Description:
Wonderful opportunity! This position will require relocation to the Chicago, IL area. A well-established leading international company within the Paint Retail Industry is seeking a top-notch Regional Operations Manager for the Chicago division of the US. Key responsibilities will include oversight for multiple stores.Must have at least 5 years equivalent management experience - paint retail operations preferred.
Requires excellence in delivering sales and profits to budget, managing working capital and expenses to targets, staff training (value selling, customer service and product knowledge). Operations to design and execute strategies that will gain market share and increase sales and profits. Deliver sales and profit objectives for their retail stores. Ensure highest level of customer service through timely and accurate order processing, effective inventory planning and a well trained staff. Develop and implement yearly business plans that support national strategies, sales and margin targets Carries out approved marketing plans and programs to ensure market growth through store accounts in their region.
General Requirements:
College Degree preferred
Must have at least 5 years experience - paint retail operations. Broad knowledge of the application and use of paint and sundries, while not required, the ability to relocate will enhance future career advancement opportunities.
Must possess a valid Driver's License.
Availability to work and travel locally within
assigned market up to 75% of time.
