A skilled nursing facility with an interdisciplinary health team consisting of Rehabilitation Physicians, Rehabilitation Nurses, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists.
Qualifications:
Graduate of a school of Occupational Therapy accredited with the AOTA Current Licensure as a Occupational Therapist and the ability to obtain state licensure Current CPR Certification required

Job Description:
Adhere to professional, ethical and legal standards of practice. Ability to maintain efficient record keeping and monitor patient’s progress toward independence. Ability to use, demonstrate and teach patients how to use adaptive equipment such as wheelchairs, orthopedic, eating devices, dressing aids and computer adaptive equipment Assist patients in improving decision making, abstract reasoning, and problem solving skills, memory sequencing, and coordination by using computer adaptive equipment. Ability to delegate tasks to Occupational Therapy aides, monitor their practice and the patient’s progress
