Description: Indiana University Health is currently seeking to employ Director Nursing & Patient Care Services Recruitment & Resource Ctr right now, this occupation will be placed in Indiana. This position exists to strategic planning and operations for system-wide nurse recruitment, retention, and workforce development initiatives. Works with Nurse Recruiters, Recruitment Specialists, and Retention Coordinators to utilize industry-leading practices to maintain low rates of nursing vacancies, turnover and involuntary terminations. Leads global resource allocation initiatives across the system. The incumbent will focus on revolutionizing processes and programs to provide innovative recruitment approaches and cutting-edge retention programs to enhance the organization's market position.

Through these strategies, the Nurse Recruitment and Retention Department will help to ensure appropriate staffing levels and the highest possible level of service, quality, operational efficiency and performance. Develops innovative outcomes-focused recruitment and retention programs. Additionally provides strategic leadership and administrative oversight to the the organization Nursing Resource Center. Leads the development, implementation and evaluation of nursing resources staffing programs to respond to unit, hospital and system needs when acuity and volume fluctuates.

Maintains accountability for achieving performance objectives and cost per hire targets. This position reports to the Senior Vice President for Patient Services/Chief Nurse Executive with a matrix relationship to the Senior Vice President Human Resources.
