Part-time, days, 8 hrs/wk
Dr. Sauer's OB Office
Performs nurse/medical assistant duties in the OB office.
DUTIES
1.Demonstrates knowledge of sterile/aseptic technique and recognizes and corrects any break in technique.
2.Does initial patient assessment and readies patient for physician's exam.
3.Assist physician with exam; act as chaperone for female patients.
4.Assist with in office procedures; set up equipment and supplies.
5.Proper cleaning of surgical instruments for CSR and transport to CSR.
6.In ch! arge of wound care clinic; removes sutures and checks wounds f! or progress and healing.
7.Educates patients and patients' families in proper wound care.
8. Proper labeling and dispensing of specimens obtained in office.
9.Keeps office well stocked with medical supplies and linens.
10.Promotes positive, friendly attitude toward patients and patients' families.
11.Assists patients with educational materials and available support groups.
12.Knowledge and maintenance of corporate compliance requirements.
13.Knowledge and maintenance of HFAP requirements.
14.General business and general clerical skills.
15. Ability to schedule appointments and follow up appointments.
16. Ability to coordinated clinical setting. 17.General knowledge of lab procedures. 18.Prep/preload/retrieve patient information for scheduled patients.
19.Scan appropriate paperwork to patient's charts.
20.Other office duties assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- IN state licensure ! for LPN *High School Diploma or GED Required
- CPR Certification
- Annual Fire/Safety Training
- Annual PPD.
- Corporate compliance
