JOB SUMMARY:
Provides support for the Clinical Director by coordinating assigned administ! rative functions and filling in clinically for continuous time care and Care Managers.

MAJOR JOB FUNCTIONS:
Schedules Home Health Aides based on needs of Case Managers. Schedule clinical personnel to perform continuous time care. Approve pharmacy DME and contracted services invoices. Assure personnel checklist is complete for all new hires Take routine doctor orders. Perform special projects and other duties as assigned. Assign monthly peer review. Perform continuous time care when regular clinical caregivers are not available. Perform routine nursing visits when regular clinical caregivers are not available. Maintains patient confidentiality at all times. Demonstrates exceptional service to patients, families, referral sources and co-workers and other customers. Utilizes “Whatever it Takes” Service Standards and scripts.

REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing. Prior home health or Hospice experience ! or one (1) year of recent medical/surgical experience. License! d as LPN in the state of employment.

OTHER:
Works indoors in patient’s home. May be required to work in undesirable areas. Possibility of cuts or minor burns from instruments and equipment. May be exposed to communicable diseases. Possibility of strains due to moving patients, or injury from irrational patients. Must own car and have ability to drive it. Employee must be responsible for auto insurance coverage. This agency will not be held responsible for any automobile damages that might occur while employee is en route to or from patient’s residence.
