Current RN License in the State of Indiana
Do you have a Bachelors degree in Nursing?
Do you have a minimum of five years of experience?
Do you have any supervisory experience?
Summary
Under the direction of the Director Flight/EMS Services, responsible for the operation and function of the
department in order to support quality direct and indirect patient care. Supervises these functions to ! provide
consistently safe and efficient operations in comp! liance with regulatory agency requirements as well as Parkview
and departmental policies and procedures. Creates a positive work environment. Encourages, respects, and
values the contributions of all individuals. Administers fair and equitable personnel policies. Assigns work evenly,
holding coworkers accountable for results and administers praise or corrective action when appropriate.
Resolves conflicts in a positive and constructive manner while displaying an open-mind. Sets priorities
appropriately and quickly adjusts them when needed.
Education
Degree/Diploma Obtained Program of Study Required/Preferred
Additional Educational Information
Graduate from a professional school of nursing. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Licensure/Certification
Additional Licensure/Certification
Valid Indiana Licensed Registered Nurse required. Must have current CPR, ACLS, PHTLS or ITLS, PALS or PEPP,
TNACT within 6 months of hire.
Experie! nce
Years of Experience Type of Experience Required/Preferred
Additional Experience Information
One year supervisory or leadership experience required. Minimum of 5 years flight experience required. Critical
care nursing experience preferred. EMS experience preferred.
Other Qualifications
Has experienced understanding in critical care and pre-hospital transport. Is able to work under pressure. Has
solid verbal and written communication skills. Meets physical requirements necessary for flight. Must be able to
lift 100 pounds.
