Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting residents with activities of daily living to include: bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Transferring and getting residents to and from activities and meals according to their individual service plan
- Serving meals to residents in the dining room or their apartment
- Recording and reporting changes in resident’s eating habits to supervisor
- Allowing and encouraging residents to do as much of their own care as possible
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
- Part time evening position
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Must have current Nursing Assistant Certification in the state of IN
- Must hold current CPR certification and fingerprint clearance ! card
- Must have one year of experience in a similar setting
- Must have flexibility with schedule
- Must enjoy working with the senior population
