Knowledge Services’ Corporate Headquarters is currently seeking a contract, full-time “ Assessment Interviewer .” If you enjoy working with people, have the abil! ity to prioritize and are task oriented, this is the job for you!

Knowledge Services has been awarded a contract in collaboration with the State of Indiana to provide reporting on residents of participating nursing home facilities. The reporting of each nursing home facility will include the completion of interviews of residents within each nursing home conducted by qualified individuals to serve as an Assessment Interviewer . Knowledge Services is seeking individuals to travel to predetermined nursing home locations, conduct interviews with residents, and submit interview results. This contract position will last approximately 3 months, while training and per diem costs will be covered in travels incurred.

Assessment Interviewer Attributes:

  • Professionalism â€" a confident, businesslike presentation and strong delivery ar! e vital to encouraging respondents to participate in surveys a! s well as persuading respondents to complete surveys already begun
  • Friendliness â€" a friendly and positive approach puts the respondent at ease and relaxed enough to give thoughtful and honest answers
  • Courtesy â€" a courteous interviewer refuses to react negatively toward a respondent who is rude, argumentative or insincere
  • Neutrality â€" care must be taken not to inject bias into the survey; do not encourage or reward respondent answers
  • Listening Skills â€" effective listening skills will help the interviewer to address respondent objections, and properly answer questions
  • Appearance â€" an interviewer most present a professional and approachable appearance that within the first few seconds of a greeting positively affects the chances of gaining cooperation
  • Optimism â€" an interviewer should confidently assume the respondent is interested and willing to participate in the survey
  • Enthusiasm â€" the interviewerâ€! ™s interest in the survey or lack of it will be immediately conveyed to the respondent; if the interviewer doesn’t seem interested in the survey, the respondent won’t either
  • Prepared â€" an interviewer should know the survey questions, instructions, and responses to common questions
  • Quick Thinking â€" anything can happen during a phone call and an interviewer must be prepared to handle any situation quickly and effectively
  • Resilience â€" a good interviewer does not allow the previous call to affect the next call; a rude respondent or a disappointing hang-up should not affect your approach to the next call
  • Desire to Improve â€" a good interviewer can honestly assess past performances, admit errors, accept and incorporate feedback and learn from mistakes
  • Common Sense â€" beyond all the training, rehearsing, and skill-building, good old-fashioned common sense is as important as anything else. Use it.
Job Duties
Re! sponsible for preparing and delivering reporting and attending regular ! check-in meetings as needed. Provide timely reporting of data collected and ensuring all privacy agreements are followed. Ensure integrity of all data relating to program is accurately reported. Provide proactive status communication with Project Coordinator. Provide excellent customer service to interviewee’s. Perform individual prescreening evaluations of interviewee’s to determine eligibility. Conduct interviews in a professional, courteous and timely manner. Fulfill all interviewing requirements by visiting all locations scheduled, documenting all data required and delivering data in timely fashion.

Requirements and Qualifications:
Must be professional and have demonstrated strong commitment to exceptional customer service. Ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, accurate, fast and detail-oriented with strong interpersonal, planning and time management skills. Must be a self-starter, self-motivate and able to perform in a fast-paced, self-m! anaged environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Ability to interact with co-workers and management in a positive and cooperative manner. Ability to manage multiple priorities. Must have reliable transportation. Overnight travel may be required. Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Recruiting and Employer of Record Industry experience preferred.
