Position Summary:
The Clinical Systems Analyst supports the ! installation and maintenance of the electronic medical record and other clinical information systems within an assigned specialty.

Duties include organizing clinical content, developing electronic order components, assisting in the definition of order sets, and defining the requirements for the development of education and training programs.

This position interacts with other Clinical Systems Analysts and coordinates with end user departments in the implementation and daily operation of clinical systems.

The Clinical Systems Analyst assists users by providing clear and concise answers to questions in the development and operation of clinical systems.

Major Responsibilities:
Leadership and Professional Development

Performs daily duties of the Clinical Information Systems Analyst

Adheres To Organizational Policy and Procedure

Adheres to Service Excellence Standards of Behavior

Minimum Requir! ements:
Bachelors degree required. Health care related! field preferred. Related coursework in information systems preferred.

Three (3) years experience in a healthcare environment required and 2 years experience information technology management of clinical systems preferred.

Prior experience in one or more of 5 areas required:
Ancillary Physicians

Nursing

Orders

Pharmacy

Physicians
