Hospital is seeking to recruit a BE/BC physiatrist/rehabilitation medicine physician to serve as medical director of program and provide inpatient management for 11 bed unit. The physician must be knowledgeable about rehabilitation by virtue of training, education, and experience with the provision of physical rehabilitation services. Candidate may contract to provide medical director services in addition to a private outpatient practice, or function in employed model in the inpatient and outpatient setting.
Hospital's Inpatient Rehabilitation program, the only program of its kind in the County, provides intensive, individualized approach with 3 full hours of 1:1 rehabilitation per day. The facility has 11 beautifully decorated private rooms, a gym, and small kitchen and laundry area for patients to improve their activities of daily living skills. The highly motivated and qualified staff includes nurses, therapists, dieticians, a social worker, and rehabilitation coordinator.
