Provide administrative support for Director of Nursing and campus. Responsible for determining the priority of work and completion of assignments with a proper balance between quality a! nd a commitment to deadlines. The incumbent will have frequent communication with other internal departments and staff, external contacts; will be required to maintain good will and provide or obtain information as appropriate. The incumbent will make high level contacts of a sensitive, complex and sometimes confidential nature both inside and outside of the company.

Key Job Responsibilities
Manage calendar for Practical Nursing program. Create, compile, prepare, copy and distribute internal and external correspondence, memorandums, forms, mass mailings, agendas, presentation materials, minutes and reports. Organize and consolidate given data which may include confidential, technical information or financials into report format for executives and management meetings. Coordinate Human Resource Information System (HRIS) work to ensure timely data updates, payroll processing, etc. Ensure all correspondence, memorandums, reports and other typed copy are proofed for! accuracy. Receive and screen telephone calls and visitors; re! trieve phone mail messages for Executive (if applicable); supply appropriate information when possible, otherwise direct calls or requests to appropriate individuals; ensure all telephone messages are conveyed in a timely manner to the appropriate individuals and respond to all telephone calls in a timely manner. Attend various department meetings; record and distribute material and follow up on action items as required. Make arrangements for meetings, luncheons and oversee as necessary; and arrange for the use of conference rooms or outside facilities as necessary. May perform various data entry projects, analytical and/or research special projects; coordinate and complete special assignments and projects as required by Management; and collaborate with various staff and departments in preparing reports. Partner with other departments including Facilities and local management to oversee physical work environment . Order and organize appropriate materials for reference, dist! ribution and/or filing and ensure that it is properly maintained. Provide leadership and may provide direction and guidance to other administrative employees. Prepare any internal forms necessary to process check requests, invoices, overnight mail and/or special expense reports and secure proper approval for processing. Coordinate and/or participate in special events or company functions as necessary. Maintain communication with employees, management, faculty and other departments; provide support to other departments on an as needed basis. Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
Associate's Degree (A.A.) or equivalent experience. Two to four years experience and/or training Minimum of 2 years experience in an administrative position. Microsoft Office Professional Proven organizational, planning and analytical skills Strong oral and written communications skills Excellent people interaction and customer service skills The position requires an ability to! effectively read, write and verbally present information and respond t! o questions from students, instructors, staff members and external contacts.
