The primary purpose of this position is to provide for the daily care, health needs, safety and comfort of the resident which includes providing professional assessments, documentation of the resident's health and assisting with the management of the assigned nursing units, staff CNAs and staff QMAs.

Reports directly to the Nursing Unit/Shift Manager.

Job duties of this position include but are not limited to:
Performing daily and periodic resident visits and nursing procedures to monitor, observe and care for the resident's physical/mental condition. Working closely with physicians and families to maintain the health/mental state of the resident. Completing various reports such as (24) hour reports, end of shift reports, shift narcotic counts, transfer/admisson documentation, medication logs, etc. Accurately charting medical records per policy and porcedure.

Required Qualifications:
RN or LPN licensure in Indiana.

Previous experience in the Long Term Care Setting
